The runes are a great resource when dealing with the metaphysics of the universe. Here is a great video for rune meditation by Freya Aswynn. I just wish the runes were colored in red. All 24 runes of the elder futhark are introduced. You will feel the charge of the runic energies as she calls the runes one by one. Try to envision each rune in bright red and let it meld into the mind’s eye. As with any skill, concentration and vivid visualizations will greatly add to the success of working with the runes.
This is a great exercise to do daily until you can do it on your own without any assistance.
There are many reasons to meditate. Meditation is a great way to calm the mind and relax the body. This is also one of the best ways to keep your spiritual balance, reduce stress, and to receive psychic information. It is also one of the best ways to meet a spirit guide! Many people are unaware of the presence of spirit guides, but through meditation the awareness can be awakened. This is a great way to contact your spirit guide and feel the loving connection that is shared with the universe. There are many different methods of meditation to use and sometimes it takes trial and error to find the best method that works for you.
A simple method is to find a setting in which you will not be disturbed. You can try some soft meditation music and incense or something else if you prefer. The concept is to release the body’s stress then calm and still the mind.
Start by taking several slow deep cleansing breaths. Try to feel the tension leave your body. Continue to slow your breathing . Slow deep breaths in and long exhales.Some find it helpful to imagine starting at the feet and working your way up to the top of your head relaxing the muscles. Many people feel it important to imagine in the mind’s eye, a white or rainbow spectrum light surrounding their body for protection. This way they can feel safe in the astral or any other realm they encounter spirits or guides on.
Many people like to create a place to meet these guardians, such as a beach or a creek in the woods, by a lake, in a garden, or on a mountain top. The point is to imagine a place that is appealing to you and visualize it in your mind. This will be your special place to meet your guardians. Once you have created the place in your mind and you are still feeling relaxed, just imagine asking to meet your guardian and then just still the mind and try to be as receptive to what you may see, hear or feel.
This is a process that works differently for everyone. You might feel a sensation or vibration in your body, you might actually hear words, you might see an image of someone or something in your mind’s eye. What is important is to focus on the special connection that is shared. You can ask if there is something you need to know and then again still the mind and listen. You can ask them their name if you do not recognize them. The choices are up to you. Before you finish, thank them and recenter yourself in your minds eye or in other words picture yourself back in your designated meditation place- ie chair,couch, bed, bath.
If this does not work for you the first time do not get discouraged. Meditation and self relaxation is something that takes practice. You can do it and it will work if you are persistent. Remember there are many ways to relax and meditate. Just find a method that works best for you.

The Lesser Arcana is separated into 4 suits: Wands,Cups,Swords, Coins or Pentacles
Wands-represent the element fire, passions, doing or actions

Coins or Pentacles-represent the the element earth, material aspects and possessions of our lives
The King, Queen, Knight, Page, or (court cards) usually represent people in relation to the reading or question but they can be symbolic as well.
The 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, Ace cards all have meanings as well as they pertain within their respected suit. Some readers will use numerology when interpreting these cards.
The Tarot psychic reading would be given to an individual based on the cards that came up in a particular spread and in relation to the questions that might have been asked. The reader should also receive some information through his or her own metaphysical method.
Psychic reading is an occurrence where one person tries to perceive information and insights using extra-sensory- perception (esp) from a metaphysical realm. There are various methods and tools per se’ that a psychic reader may use to provide the reading such as Tarot cards, runes, astrological signs and charts, and numerology and more. There are some psychic readers that use a form of channeling spirits as a medium such as John Edward or Sylvia Brown. These psychics are usually referred to as being clairvoyant. Most psychics consider themselves to be clairvoyant to a point since it is their own perception that they rely on when providing a reading for someone or for themselves.

The life number and personality number would then be looked at extensively as it pertained to the individual. By looking at the number an individual can see insights as to what conflicts, challenges, and abilities one would have in life or within his or her personality as it pertained to the number.
The metaphysical lore or magical uses of crystals and stones is as old as time. By magic, I am referring to the metaphysical energies associated with the stones or crystals. Crystals and stones contain the earth’s metaphysical energies. The first shamans knew the hidden power or energy found in these even when they were separated by continents. Many Native American cultures share in the same belief as well. As time went on, amulets and talismans were made to provide the holder with the magical properties of the stones or crystals being used. There is a vast majority of uses for stones and crystals that has been studied and used over the ages of time.
Stones and crystals have projective and receptive properties or energies that are associated with them. These metaphysical properties are everywhere within the universe. Too much of one causes problems, thus warranting the need for balance. A person feeling out of balance or lacking within a certain aspect of them-self could use a certain stone or crystal that had a desired metaphysical energy to bring balance back into them-self. The lunar phase is important and helps in determining the best time for magic. Blue Moon The “blue” one is always the 2nd full moon in the same month. Historically the Blue Moon was considered unlucky and a real nuisance when it occurred at various times of the year and upset scheduling of church festivals. In love songs the Blue Moon is often a symbol of sadness and loneliness.
New moon, Dark moon. Dark moon occurs either side of the new moon. The new moon is between the last of the waning moon and the beginning of the waxing moon. The new moon has the power of in-between, a time which is not a time, similar to midday, midnight etc.
Metaphysics is not easy to define, but metaphysics is the study of reality, study of being and existence, study of worldly nature, study of spiritual existence and how it all interacts with each other through forces that can be seen or not be seen. Metaphysics is a type of philosophy that has roots to Ancient Greek philosophers such as Socrates, Plato and Aristotle.
The term metaphysics in today’s world has come to represent and include many categories of topics such as: psychics, psychic readings, clairvoyance, Tarot, numerology, astrology, and runes. It also includes the paranormal, spirituality, reincarnation, magic, divination, esp, shamanism, paganism, the “Craft“, magical properties of crystals, herbs, oils, and charms. Is there a God or spirit world? Who am I? Why am I here? What is the meaning of life? Is there an afterlife? What is reality? How do people and nature interact and why in relation to these questions?
